Restore, customize or run as is, this is a solid bike at a great price! Clean Oregon title.

I purchased in 2003 from LA . It has run faithfully from 23k to current 52k. Has been absolutely reliable; run almost entirely on long cruises in my tenure.
Not a rat bike and far from a showpiece but excellent rider. .
Always starts like it ran yesterday. Oil always treated with ZMax additive to mitigate dry starts.
Garaged mostly, but some rust on chrome from a few years parked outdoors.
Currently has radical custom seat to accommodate my 6-8 stature; unusual shape to provide room for passenger. Original RT seat and backrest included. Aftermarket plastic seat pan used for customization, foam and vinyl cover included.
Windscreen hazed and left-side adjuster gone.
Fairing lowers, rubber instrument dash and fairing box inserts missing. Dash lights usually do not work, not simply due to fuses.
Original BMW luggage boxes included, in v good shape. No tool kit, but I have battery covers. Clean title, not registered.
Have full suit, helmet, size 14 boots, also for rider, not included.

Full fork rebuild by Lawrence Giardina in SF ~2008, included addition of CNC aluminum fork brace ("ToasterTan") and aftermarket floating rotors. These are a major upgrade.
Routine maintenance in those days by Dave Gardner. Tire replacements, carb balances and valve adjusts at airheads tech days.
Final drive seal and wheel bearing replaced at Steve's BMW in Dundee, OR who says transmission is comparably smooth and has 50% of the splines left.
Carb rebuild EXCEPT for butterfly o-rings and jets at 24k. Every reason to believe jets are the originals.
Dry cell battery has been on smart charger its entire life.
Mufflers fair-to-good, headers treated with thread goop but probably v hard to remove now. Hagon shocks. Fork boots.
Service stand bearings aged, side stand only used for parking.
Avon front, Metzler rear, low miles but not new.
Pushrod tube seals beginning to leak. Otherwise not leaky.
Do a complete fluid replacement and run it forever; also great for the obsessive tinkerer which I am not.
