This is a relisting because a scammer attempted to take the bike and extort money. I reported the person to the administrator of this site. I must speak to an actual human before any sale can go forward. So, here we go again.
Up for sale is my classic 1982 R65LS motorcycle. It has been my daily driver for several years and is in exceptional original condition. Non-original items include stainless steel brake lines and an aftermarket Parabellum windshield. The windshield did not modify the original faring, but some parts were removed to install the Parabellum. The original parts are included. I am fastidious about maintenance. The bike has new brake pads, fluids, oil/air filters, and tires. The heads needed some work because the one of the valves was recessed. I sent them to the Beemershop for a complete valve job. They installed new valve seats, guides, and oversized values for better breathing. Included in the deal is: 1 R65 LS (Red), Parabellum windshield, the original faring parts and brake lines, a Clymer manual, a paint touch up kit, a few misc. parts, and a BMW tool kit. This bike runs great and would drive anywhere. Tires are excellent. 100% garaged. 49xxx miles. Clean Illinois license and title. $4850.
