Trade my Stunning Custom '83 R100RS for your GS Will trade plus cash towards your R12GS, R12GSA or F800GS. Stunning example of one of BMW's milestone motorcycles, the still very capable R100RS. This an '83, considered the high water mark for the early RS'es. This one has just 98K miles (hey, that's just 3600 miles per year!) - and has been nearly completely refurbished - with well over $4,000 in recent receipts including the following (from memory): - New refurbished final drive 32/11 - New clutch - Rebuilt carbs - New steering head bearings - New battery - New diode board for alternator - New left handlebar switch - New throttle assembly - Various instrument bulbs - New Continental Go Sport! tires front and rear - Fresh oil/filter change - Extras include: - System Cases - Braided steel brake lines front and rear - Dark tinted windscreen - stock height Perhaps the most striking part of the bike is its incredibly rich, deep professionally applied jet black paint with hand applied blue pinstripes throughout - and matching powder coated snowflake wheels. This paint work alone would easily cost over $2,000. This is what truly sets this machine apart from any other RS, and together with the immaculately clean condition of the bike, made it a show winner at the rally. Bike runs, rides and shifts flawlessly, and will run 80+ all day long. The first real sport touring bike ever made, and one of the best fairings ever designed. The only thing this bike needs are brake rotors all around - still work great but are grooved at the edges. Someone will be extremely happy with this bike - no disappointments! Thanks for looking! 1991 HD FXRP Police Bike for Late Model Airhead RT I have a 1991 Harley Davidson FXRP Police Low Rider with approximately 35k miles. It has a Corbin seat, new tires, a new battery, a new starter, new handlebars, new handlebar controls (late model throttle twistgrip, clutch/brake levers), new handlebar switches (late model style), new brake master cylinders (front and rear), new footpegs, new fork seals, and some other new parts. All parts are genuine Harley Davidson and all work was completed by a certified Harley Davidson Technician who worked at a Harley Davidson Dealership. The paint is original and all sheet metal is in good condition. This is the FXRP-W which means that it is unfaired. I do not have the stock saddlebags or saddlebag mounting hardware. This bike runs very well. I'm looking for a late model (early/mid '90s) R100RT in good/stock condition. DNEPR and sidecar to trade for K Bike I have a DNEPR kit bike that has been assembled but never titled, it comes with certificate of origin papers, I hear that in many states that is enough along with an inspection to get a semi-historic project bike on the road, you would want to check with your local DMV. Anyway, I believe it is a 650 motor, previous owner thought it might be a 800, he had bought it on ebay from a fellow who brings these Russian bikes into the country. It is green, it makes a striking appearance, 4 speed with reverse, would need some work as you go along, they all do, but she is up and running. I am looking to trade for a K Bike 750 or 1000, so I can keep up with my daughter on her GS500 Suzuki. Price: trade for K bike Location: Annapolis, Md.
