'78 R80/7 for a Dual Sport Bike I am testing the water here....I have a very nice '78 R80/7 in black with white pin striping (not an OEM color combo for that year). Here is what is new within the past 100 miles, full paint with correct striping, 800cc stickers on battery covers, Dunlops front and rear w/ new tubes, Wesco gel battery, tank roundels, gas cap gasket kit, center stand springs, seat with seat rail, three red rear reflectors, Bumm mirrors, S style bars (I have used US style bars too), full tool kit, grips (non-OEM),plugs and all fluids and oil filter changed. Bike is not a show bike but looks VERY NICE and is a good rider with 43k miles. Bike has two keys, the tool tray, Luftmeister rear "mud guard" (unique piece) and a clear Indiana title. I am looking for a used dual sport (Dakar, F800GS, air, oil / hexhead GS, KTM, etc.) and realize I need to pay cash difference. This is probably a long shot but...let me know what you have and what you are thinking. I have owned this bike for 3+ years and just do not ride it. My 2007 Triumph Sprint ST ABS for your BMW I have a great 2007 Triumph Sprint ST with ABS, computer and matching luggage with only 7,500 miles I would like to trade for your BMW RS (R1100RS or R1150RS) or ST (F800 ST or R1200ST) and cash (if my bike's worth more than yours). The Triumph's engine is simply awesome and I love the bike, but I'm looking for something slightly less aggressive. I once had a 2002 R1150R and I'm thinking of going back in that direction but a little sportier, hence the RS or ST-basically something between my old Beemer and my new Triumph. Meztler tires Quantity of 2 Metzler Sportec 1 rear tires in very good condition. Size is 180/55ZR17 (73W) Takeoffs from a large bike. Want to trade for Metzler Tourance 130/80-R17 and a 100/90-R19 or other brand to fit an F650. Both had small nail puncture in center of tread which has been repaired. 2003 Aprilia Tuono R to trade for R/75, R/60, ? Aprilia has 19k miles, all service/mtce is up to date. Michelin Pilot tires, carbon fiber front fender, two windscreens, gel seat. The 'R' model is the one with all the good suspension and brake goodies. Bike has been owned by two old farts and is in perfect condition. I would like to trade for an R75, good mechanical cond., not looking for a museum piece. Long frames and disc front get first attention. May also be interested in other airheads with less than 750cc.
