1983 BMW R80RT I have a 1983 BMW R80rt touring motorcycle. I would be interested in trading or sell outright. It has 34,000 miles on it. Bike runs good just needs a little cosmetic work. The bike has some paint splatter on it from being stored in a garage where painting was going on and it has a dent in the gas tank. 1974 R90/6 for sale Nice '74 R90/6, original silver paint with matching numbers and 48K. It also has a valid TITLE as well. Forks rebuilt with Progressive springs, Koni shocks in rear, low Euro bars with a left-side Napoleon bar-end mirror. Tooltray and toolkit present. Red factory tank lining intact, sidecovers there, saddle is a correct recover with badge and grabrail. Exhaust pipe chrome are near mint, wheels relatively clean and perfectly true with a BRAND NEW set of matching Metzler Macadams. It also has a recent gel battery. I just had the carbs professionally rebuilt and synched, new points installed, oil changed, engine timed and valves adjusted so it runs flawlessly with a nice, even idle and no smoke. Engine compression spec'd out to 140psi per side, +/- 5. All the electrics are working as they should. Cosmetically, the bike looks good although the original paint is a bit tired and the front fender has been replaced, but this particular BMW is one of the most mechanically sound bikes I've had the pleasure of owning. I'd be looking for $3K+ if it were springtime but will entertain any and all serious offers. 1975 R75/6 1974 BMW R75/6 airhead in great condition. Bike has had lots of work done to it to get it in good riding condition - but sadly must sell. Carbs have been rebuilt (300 miles ago), brand new spiegler stainless brake line, brand new progressive front shocks, and lots more. 1984 R100RT 36k miles This Is the last year before they started using those ugly blasphemous mono shocks. the BEST year for the dual shock RTs. rated at 70 HP not 60 like the later models. this bike Is In VERY nice condition for its age...In fact I havent seen one as nice...you would be hard pressed to find another. the color is either atlantic blue or pacific blue, It has krauser boxes on the side that look like brand new...they also have Siebenrock INNER bags which are also like brand new. It has a Corbin touring seat on It...that also looks brand new...Ohlins shocks for cripes sake. It runs great and starts up everytime...doesnt miss a beat It runs STRONG, I mean real strong no BUTCHERING! ORIGINAL...It Is as good an airhead as youre going to find, granted It has some "age wear" If you wanna knit pick... but I swear It's as nice as one of these get without a full restoration that you NEVER ride ...Id keep It but I could use the money for the game called life...grr. plus I have a 78 RS Motorsport edition I would like to restore to its former glory at some point. bottom line I wont give this bike away. 1977 R100S Another victim of the economy This bike sat for approx. 20 years. I bought at auction ( no bargain for sure) I put proper fairing, seat on, new brake shoes, pads, wheel bearings, checked splines, new tires, fork seals, s bars, carbs rebuilt by Bing last year $. It needs headlight relay, instruments work but need rebuilt, heads probably need reworked. Paint is all origonal except seat cowl. Krauser bags, rough but work. 1986 R65 Monoshock Excellent condition 1986 R65 monoshock in excellent condition. 36,840 miles. Only a limited number of monoshock R65s were brought into the country before production ceased. Due to the single sided swing arm and longer wheel base this version handles better than the earlier r65s. These machines are especially popular with the inseam challenged as they are lower than other airheads due to 18inch front and rear wheels. Many parts are interchangable with other airheads. Heads have been torqued, valves adjusted, carbs cleaned and rebuilt including new o-rings and diaphrams, all electrical connections cleaned and dielectric applied, new coil, all fluids changed, new ss braided brake line, new fork seals, new gaitors, neutral switch, Steering bearings cleaned and greased, transmission spline lubed and in excellent condition as are the splines on the final drive, anti-seize applied on exhaust head nuts, side stand modified for easier deployment, misc rubber bits replaced. Hard bags and custom rear rack are included. The Pelican box and tank bag are not. This bike has always been garaged and shows no rust or corrosion. I'm sure there are other things I have forgotten. Bike is great in the mountains or on the interstate. I have ridden this bike 600 miles in one day and was ready for more. I recently acquired an R80 g/s so have reluctantly decided to sell this bike and my 1978 R100/7. 1989 R100GS Original blue and white GS in good shape overall. Bike has original paint which is very good except for left sidecover. Frame, handlebars show some signs of light corrosion, also on fork tubes in between triple clamps, but its no rust bucket....just not a concours bike. Pretty stock overall, with full stainless Supertrapp exhaust and Bagster tank cover. Only has solo seat, no toolkit or manual. Has Metzeler street tires on now, but they are brand new. Engine runs literally stronger than any late R100 I have owned. Pulls very hard, and has throaty exhaust note. Starter a bit noisy. Front cam seal leaky. 1975 BMW R90S s/n 4981235, Fresh restoration. This is a 1975 R90S, (Daytona Orange) with a complete rebuild and service documentation from 1975. It features 1300 miles on a new motor. 5900 miles on rebuilt transmission, new clutch and final drive. This bike has a brand new main wire harness, new electrics, starter etc. All new body work and correct factory custom paint. The bike received 95 points at recent classic show on 9-19-09 in southern California. Excellent mpg touring bike. Purchased from original owner (close friend of mine) in 2008, this classic airhead is basically a time-machine that had the original tires on it when I bought it. It has had $4k in service in the past 12 months including, but not limited to: all new transmission seals, new oil-pan gasket, new front shock seals with new progressive springs, rebuilt carburetors with new diaphragms, new Laser Tech tires, new BMW battery, new brake master cylinder (can accommodate 2nd front disk for future upgrade), and much more. This is a 30 year old motorcycle that is completely original, other than all the recent service work. All records document service. It runs beautifully with no oil leaks. Original owner transitioned all fluids to synthetics many years ago. Includes original owners manual, sales brochure from '79, and chrome, rear case rack that is specific to this model. Also has wrap-around engine covers. This motorcycle was always garaged, and the paint, chrome and powder-coating are in very good condition. 1977 R75/7 Very nice low mileage bike: 23,878 miles. I stored this bike in my garage for a friend for a number of years before I bought it from him in 1983. It was in storage for about twelve more years while I worked and lived in Europe. Put back on the road after thorough refurb program by local BMW dealer. New tires (800 miles), new exhaust system, engine seals, rebuilt front forks. A solid, dependable bike. Ridden very gently over the years.
