Floating Disk Roller Replacement - Addendum 1

I read with interest Buzz Davis' article dated April 2001.

I have recently replaced the above parts on my 1993 K1100LT without removing the wheel. Simply remove and replace each roller set as described by your correspondent one at a time, working around the disk. To ease removal of the old circlips (rusted on!), I held the outer edge of each roller with a pair of mole grips to prevent it from rotating and knocked out the circlip with a small chisel. Most broke in two but that doesn't matter. The whole job (two disks) took less than 45 minutes.
